Engineering product development in Sri Lanka
We design and build physical products: the mechanics, the electronics and the firmware. That includes robots, automation equipment and connected devices, taken from first concept to a version a factory can build.
Who it is for
Startups with a hardware idea, manufacturers who want to automate a repetitive task or add monitoring to existing equipment, and companies that need a device that senses, decides and reports.
We started in robotics competitions, where a machine either works on the day or it does not. The same team handles mechanical, electrical and software work, so nothing is lost between suppliers.
What we build
Mechanical design
Frames, mechanisms and enclosures, designed in CAD and checked against the loads they will actually see.
Custom electronics
Circuit design, sensors, motor and actuator control, and boards built for your product.
Firmware
Embedded software for microcontrollers, written to be reliable, updateable and documented.
Robotics and automation
Automation cells, machine vision and mobile robots, with installation planned around your production.
Connected devices and IoT
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular, LoRa and GPS, chosen for range, power and running cost, with a dashboard for the data.
Documentation
Drawings, code and a build guide at every stage, so the work never lives only in our heads.
How a project runs
Scope
We write down what the product must do, the conditions it will live in, and the price range.
Build
Short cycles, riskiest part first, with a physical checkpoint you can hold at the end of each one.
Test
We break things on purpose: instrumented runs and a written failure log.
Hand over
Drawings, code and documentation, plus the files needed to rebuild it.

Questions we are asked
How much does it cost to develop a product?
It depends on the number of parts, the electronics and how close to production you need to go. The estimate questionnaire gives an itemised range in rupees, and we confirm a fixed price once the scope is written down.
What is IoT development?
It is building devices that collect data or take actions and connect to a network, together with the software that stores and shows that data. A soil sensor that reports to a dashboard is a typical example.
Can you automate a task on our production line?
Often, yes. Tasks that are repetitive and easy to describe, such as sorting, counting, feeding and inspecting, are the usual starting point. We design cells to fit inside existing lines and plan installation around your schedule.
Can you work with our existing hardware?
Often, yes. We can add sensing, control or connectivity to existing equipment, and we will tell you early if it is not practical.
Do you help with manufacturing?
Yes. Design for manufacture is its own service: we rework the design with your manufacturer and stay involved through the first production run.
