Challenge
Dispatchers tracked forty vehicles across six spreadsheets and a group chat. Late deliveries were found out about from customers.
Approach
We shadowed two dispatch shifts, listed every decision they made, and built the smallest tool that supported the ones that cost the most time.
Solution
A live board of vehicles and jobs with automatic delay alerts, driver check-ins by text message, and a nightly export that the accounts team already knew how to read.
